Everyone seems to agree that expertise location can provide tremendous business value, but everyone seems to have a different definition/approach for it. Is it simply an employee profile? How does your organization balance automated profiles versus manual profiles? Should it include blogs, wikis and social media? How do employees know how to find experts? What is the expertise location process itself (regardless of any technology)?
