All #KMers chats are hosted and moderated by the community. That means we need you!
We have developed a KMers.org Twitter Chat Schedule using Google Docs, where you can indicate you are interested to moderate.

The Schedule
- The schedule provides an overview of all confirmed, and probable #KMers moderators, including their proposed topics. Click here to go to the Chat Schedule!
- If you are interested to host a #KMers chat on a certain date, please add your name and topic to the schedule, and e-mail: coo@kmers.org If you are interested to moderate at some point, but not on a specfic date yet, click here
- When your request is confirmed, it is indicated in the schedule.
The Commitment
- Come up with a knowledge management related topic to chat about, and formulate a catchy title (You can also first e-mail coo@kmers.org with your ideas)
- Write a short chat announcement to put on the KMers.org website, accompanied by a set of 4 to 6 discussion questions.
- A time commitment of 60 minutes for the chat on Tuesday 12-1 pm EST USA
Optional
- Summarizing the chat either directly on KMers.org or on your own blog (link will be added to the chat event)
- Writing a blogpost on your own blog before or after the event (link will be added to the chat event)
Some Moderator Tips
- Invite people to elaborate their points, to provide examples and to share supporting links.
- When the chat starts please ask people to introduce themselves shortly. Begin the actual chat session after five to ten minutes.
- Welcome new people to the chat
- Promotion of your own chat event via Twitter or other channels
- Divide the 4-6 questions over the hour
- Manage your time to make sure all questions can be discussed, and close the session after one hour.
- Use [moderator] before process tweets Invite people to come up with follow-up topics When available: links to both will be added to the Chat Event on KMers.org.
